Nayme
Nae Tanakorn started his career as a multimedia designer, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in multimedia. He then fell in love with digital art and interactive design.
In 2008 Nae secured the first job in his long-standing career in 3D visualisation, working on architectural and interior projects.
The transition from the 3D visualisation industry to furniture design was an organic process. Studying furniture design at RMIT, he was able to use his skills with various software packages to design, sculpt and create pieces and works that were coming from within.
Winner of Artichoke Magazine Emerging Maker Award in 2021 - the award recognises the next wave of Victorian graduates in contemporary craft and design.
